Training Day (2001)

Took me by surprise how much moral and spiritual wealth I found in this. Aristotelian tragedy (God, I love that) and Denzel is a force of nature. I went down a trivia rabbit hole and the circumstances around the filmmaking add so much to the weight of this.

Tense, beautiful and blistering.
