
Honey or maple syrup work so well with this. This recipe says to throw them straight on the grill, but I wrap mine in aluminum foil and grill them in the glaze. They still char but they get much softer. Grill in foil until a fork/knife can slide in, but not until they’re too mushy. I have a charcoal grill so they get a smokey flavor, too.
Looks very fancy and impressive with rainbow carrots (minimum effort, maximum aesthetic payoff).
