The Sword of Kaigen by M.L. Wang

So much heart and complexity packed into this, which feels odd to say since it’s 600+ pages. Wang does in one book what entire series aspire to, no time wasted. I love when fiction leaves me better off than I found it. Devastating and nourishing. Incredibly lovely and worthwhile.
